What is Float Valve?
Float valves are also commonly called ball-cock valves. It is a small device used to regulate the flow/level of a liquid tank. Because floats are used in many industries and applications, float valves work entirely mechanically. The main objective of the float valve is to control the flow and water filling level of the tanks.
It also controls overflow and overfilling of the tank as the valve connector is connecting the valve to the incoming liquid. When the float rises to the selected level, a lever attached to the float opens and closes the valve. All associated components such as valves, floats, and connectors work together to ensure fluids stay at the perfect assigned levels with minimum manual inspection.
