What is Lovejoy Coupling?

These Flexible couplings connect two shafts end-to-end on the same line for two main purposes. The first is to transfer power (torque) from one shaft to the other, making them both rotate together at the same speed. The second is to accommodate small misalignments and random movements between the two shafts.

Types of Lovejoy Coupling

• L Type Couplings – The L Type coupling comprises of two standard L Type hubs & one spider.
• LC Type Couplings – They consist of one standard L Type hub, one LC Type hub, one standard snap wrap center & one collar with screws.
• AL Type Couplings – These couplings are composed of two hubs and one spider.
• SS Type Couplings – These SS Type coupling have two hubs and one spider.
• RRS Type Couplings – These couplings consist of 2 standard RRS hubs, spacer assembly consisting of 2 snap wrap spiders, 2 Collars with screws and a spacer.
