What is NRV Valve?

The NRV Valve (Non-return Valve) or check valve allows the fluid to flow in only one direction and is installed to ensure that fluid flows in the correct direction through pipes where pressure conditions can cause backflow. The check valve is automatic. That is, it is not controlled by most people or an external controller, but by the medium flow itself. If fluid attempts to flow back through the valve in the wrong direction, the obturator will be pushed back past the valve inlet, blocking all flow.

Use of Non-return Valve
